President Donald J. Trump Proclaims July 17, 2017, as Made in America Day – Why President Trumps Proclamation for Made in America Day is more important News than a New White House Chief of Staff.
President Trump has not invaded Iraq. He has not surged Afghanistan. He has not invaded Libya. He has displayed patience with North Korea – though I believe the situation would be best served by sending a very senior member of the U.S.A administration (I offered to go but then who am I – nobody) to meet with Kim Jung Un. As usual China takes the easy option – do nothing and Russia waits to see what is in it for them. Perhaps when they have millions of refugees streaming over their borders when President Trump takes the only option left to him by the selfishness of China they might do something.
The Media however continually launch themselves at President Trump often increasing the emotion of a situation because they are too lazy to find a story that matters.
Changing Chief of Staff is no big deal. It is not the Apocalypse – Companies often change CEO’s.
The BBC in particular appear to be hell-bent on attacking President Trump at every opportunity whilst being soft on a Prime Minister who changes tack like a Skipper with no rudder and not reporting all the events happening in the U.K.
What is important to America is that President Trump has not stopped re-organising the mess that was America’s Industrial Strategy.
America’s domestic market is its Economy’s best customer. But it needs to want to buy American. A couple of months ago I bought a pair of Caterpillar Boots. Why did I buy them? Because I wanted the dependability and quality of American manufacturing and I like America – I have been there 4 x. I was not impressed to find out they were made in Vietnam. I would have paid a little more for American-made boots and I would liked to have a little U.S flag on the boots.
Will I buy another pair? No. I wanted American made boots. I have nothing against Vietnam but I have a loyalty to America and I wanted to exercise it.
America is a brand. It makes its products to last. It has a style of all its own. President Trump knows that to get jobs he has to get America to buy American. Take care of your domestic market and it will pay your bills and the export market will become your cream.Economies of scale will ensure that a strong domestic market will be a springboard for your exports.
I look at what President Trump has done. He has not stopped since he became President working to improve America. Other World Leaders should take note. If they worked for their Citizens instead of International Vested Economic Interests and reformed the United Nations to bring Peace to the World we would all be better off.
Here in the U.K we do not have a ‘Made in the U.K’ Day because we no longer have a ‘Made in the U.K’. But America has and it needs to regain market share. America also needs Peace. Enemies do not buy your products.
The media deserves President Trump criticism because as I well know there is no Free Press only Bought Press.
President Trump is who he is. The Media particularly the BBC had better get used to him. He is out to win not lose. He is not perfect – but who is?
‘Made in America Day’ is good news as long as we have ‘Made in America’ we can buy. America at last has a President who is prepared to make it ‘easy’ for American Business – all they need now is to showcase their Products and for that they need an Internet that works.
Message to President Trump. You need to go hard on U.K Cyber Criminals who may be working for a U.K Global Social Experiment Group. The UKGOV would appear to be oblivious to the damage to the Internet Economy I believe they are causing. The Internet is the shopfront it should not be subjected to ‘Out of Control’ cyber-crime because Theresa May and the U.K Police will not enforce the law.
The U.K GOV may not care about the U.S and its Products being showcased on the Internet but I am sure that President Trump does.
