Why do British people praise an ancient useless queen?

My answer to Why do British people praise an ancient useless queen?

Answer by Desmond Last:

First of all the Queen is not ancient. Queen Elizabeth 2 is 91 years old today.

Happy Birthday Queen Elizabeth.

To call our Queen ancient is an insult the the Queen’s many years of unselfish Public Duty. A devotion to duty which many of our Politicians would do well to take note of.

As for the term ‘useless’ I also disagree. There have been many times when our Queen has been the public outpouring of sentiment and the upholder of our national tradition.

Our King, the Queen’s father’, stood as a battlement to the Nazi terror when it flung its might at London. He never left his people. So too our Queen has never deserted the duty she has undertaken to the people of the United Kingdom.

Whilst I do not agree with the way the Monarchy has failed to keep step with the needs of its people in regard to the failure of its Government to listen to the people of the United Kingdom, I cannot agree wit the ‘insulting tone’ of the question.

Love her or loath her the Queen is a model of Public Duty and one which our Governments should seek to emulate.

I have developed a reform of the United Nations and written a New System for Climate Change Policy and Disaster Management. My New System of Economics does not support Aid to end Third World Poverty instead it utilizes economic empowerment of Communities to do so. I seek freedom through a Bill of Rights for Creatures Gr8 & Small. Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the CIA and MI5/6 have never acknowledged my writing neither have the BBC, CCN and any Australian Media.
