My answer to How can you get peace and quiet in your mind?
Answer by Desmond Last:
In a World where our Governments set an example of immorality, corruption and isolation and our so-called leaders of the Faiths allow children to die in war and poverty it is difficult to be of Peace and mind.
However being honest, principled is a foundation for Peace of Mind.
For many people the problems of the World are too big to comprehend dealing with.
For others our increasingly authoritarian Establishment and Government pose too daunting a task to change.
Governments cannot be trusted and will do anything to stop what they see as a threat to their Power.
I know how far a Governemt(s) will go to suppress those who have the true Power of responsibility – the Voice and support of the People.
My personal experience of the corruption of Power exhibited by Theresa May and her Establishment is such that one day it will be exhibited in a Court of Law.
Such is the contempt this Prime Minster has shown for our rights of the equality of the law May will go down in history as one of the most disliked women in the World.
Standing up for the Principle of Law for one and all even if it is only to write a letter to a newspaper or question the right of your local Council to drive a highway through your village is a Peace of Mind.
We must not let our Governments rule our lives. To do so is to let them take away the freedoms so many have fought and died for.
Peace of Mind is best achieved when you stand up for the rights of others. You are then proud that you as an individual made a difference.
