My answer to What are your thoughts on Trump's alleged disastrous phone call with Australian PM Turnbull?
Answer by Desmond Last:
Donald Trump was right. For too long Australia has tried to shift its illegal immigration problem onto everybody else.
I am an Australian who at the moment is in the U.K. Australia is a big country. It has the room to house immigrants.
It also has an underdeveloped economy. Successive mediocre Australian governments have allowed the Australian economy to operate on Mining receipts and a decimated manufacturing industry.
Turnbull got what he deserved. He is a multi-millionaire who has no idea of what hell the refugees go through.
Instead of spending millions of dollars housing illegal immigrants offshore Australia should house them on-shore in humane conditions and assist them in being a productive part of a viable Australia economy.
Trump is also right to question the security of Australia not carrying out detailed vetting of any immigrant application.
Turnbull has also allowed a Global Social Experiment Group to do whatever they want.
What will he say to Donald Trump when he is asked where are any Americans that worked with a so-called Social Experiment Group in Australia, the U.K and around the World?
