My answer to How would you answer the question, "If everyone jumped off a cliff, would you jump, too?”
Answer by Desmond Last:
I would not. But a real-life example of the answer to your question is the United Kingdom.
Oblivious to the fact that nobody in the World needs anything they make the whole of the U.K is standing on an economic cliff-face ready to jump.
Included in this lemming like rush to economic oblivion are all the young people of the U.K. These young people robots are totally immersed in texting each other and avoiding getting involved in the World around them. They do not realise that soon they will not even be able to afford their texting.
With no Business Plan, no short medium or long-term Industrial Strategy and with no money and Government borrowing increasing at the rare of £5200 a second ‘Alice in Wonderland Theresa May wanders the World repeating like an automaton ‘The U.K is open for business’. The answer to that is so are the other 200 plus countries of the World.
For the People of the U.K the answer to your question is ‘Yes’.
