My answer to What are some of the dark lessons that life showed you?
Answer by Desmond Last:
I believe the whole World, all 7 billion plus of us, have in 2016 learned a very tragic and Evil lesson. We have learned that our Governments do not peruse the ideals of Peace and Humanity that they so constantly remind us about.
We have all watched the horrors of war so tragically unfold in Syria and in the Mediterranean this year. All our Governments, and I mean everyone of them, know that we the People of the World did and do not want children to be so brutally and savagely killed.
It is against the every reason and purpose for our very existence. It is against everything that every man and woman has ever fought for in the pursuit of the advancement of justice and human rights. It is against the very soul and purpose of God’s own hopes for mankind.
But our Governments, Military, Church and Islam leaders have allowed babies, children and their parents, to be treated as nothing more than the chattels of their political power games superimposed as a proxy war between two World super powers Russian and America.
We the people of the World have witnessed first-hand the most disgusting and soul destroying lesson in the history of the World in front of our very eyes. Our Governments are so full of contempt of us that they do not care what they do in the pursuit of their own interests.
Would Putin and Obama allow Russian and American children to be so brutally murdered? No they would not. That is another dark lesson. We have no human rights.
It is worse than the horrors of World War 2 because we have learned nothing from the brutal evil acts carried out by the Nazis.
2016 will go down in history as the year we the People of the World learned that our Governments act not for the people but for themselves.
But we the people of the World have also seen our dark side. We could have stopped the horrors of Aleppo. All we had to do was refuse to be involved with our Governments. But we did not. We are all guilty of the murder of the children of Aleppo.
