My answer to What would you do if you had the power of god?
Answer by Desmond Last:
We all have the power of God. We have been given all that is required to ensure that the world lives in Peace and Harmony. We all have the ability to respect human dignity and with that respect the available resources to ensure that we all enjoy that which is available to each of us.
Who amongst wakes up every morning and states I want to kill? I want to take that which is not mine. I want children to suffer. I want families to suffer the loss of loved ones.
Not I and not the majority of the people of the World.
Right now around the world people are dying and suffering. Why? There is enough food in the world to feed everybody. In countries around the world Jew lives with Muslims and Sunni with Shiite.
We all have the power to bring Peace to the World. That is the power of God.
Where then we must ask ourselves does the inability to ensure we live in Peace come from?
Well I do not see Obama and Putin sitting down for lunch today and saying lets bring an end to our differences.
Nor do I see the Pope and the Ayatollah Al Ali Khamenei walking into Aleppo and saying ‘enough is enough’. After all they would have the protection of God – wouldn't they?
We have all we need to create heaven on earth. We who have the faith to follow the word of God have allowed our faith to be hijacked as religion.
When an ISIS dies and goes to Heaven there is no fenced off area to keep him away from the Jews. God sees us as all the same.
I have developed a new philosophy of the Word of God. One that is able to be read by a would be suicide bomber. A philosophy that right now I could be using to address ISIS in Mosul to prevent more unnecessary deaths. Would I succeed? Maybe not.
But The Power of God is the possibility of achievement. What is important is that I have the belief I would succeed.
The reason I am not in Mosul is because your Governments have not supported my work and the media will not report me or my work. You must ask them why.
I do not see the Pope and the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei or for that matter the Archbishop’s of Canterbury and Westminster acknowledging my work. Why not I ask myself?
It is a question that one day I will ask of them myself.
God is within each of us. We all have love in our hearts. Even the most evil yearns for the love within us and in doing erupts a jealousy that invokes evil.
The Power of God has been given to us. We must use it.
