My answer to Are UK junior doctors overreaching in calling 5 day strikes?
Answer by Desmond Last:
The BMA needs lessons in negotiation. Now people are going to suffer. The Junior Doctor are in breach of the law. As Doctors they are not allowed to put patients at risk.
If I were the Prime Minister I would call in the Armed Forces Doctors and individually prosecute the Junior Doctors and the BMA.
If as they say they are concerned about the welfare of their patients why do they not go on strike about the way in which the NHS is organized.
Why do they not go on strike for a better deal for nurses and Paramedics?
Junior Doctors have the opportunity to make a lot of money in their future careers.
They have had their education and training paid for by the taxpayer.
They can work all over the World
They will never be made redundant or be put on zero hours contracts.
Most will never go to a war zone where Doctors will risk their lives such as in Aleppo in Syria.
They are about to cause misery and pain. If they cared they would not go on strike.
Yes they work hard. But so do millions of others.
Theresa May who is no friend of mine should not give in to them.
