My answer to Are you angry about the US returning $400 million dollars of Iran's money?
Answer by Desmond Last:
What should concern everybody, not just American’s, is that it was paid in cash. Obama and his administration are either naive or had no choice. If they had no choice then it was to allow the hostages to be released.
In these days of cash for weapons, including nuclear weapons, and the funding of groups to further your own aims, you do not pay cash.
Our nuclear security is precarious – we do not know where all the nuclear weapons are that have been manufactured.
Much as I expect Iran to be a contributor to world security its actions in Yemen and Syria do not inspire confidence. Particularly as the Quran does not allow the killing of innocents.
The Washington Federal Administration displayed a complete lack of global responsibility by giving the $400 million in cash.
Where has it gone? What will be purchased with it? Why would a Government want cash if not to use it for a non-traceable purchase.
The people of America should be asking some hard questions of Obama to ensure any future payments are paid into bank accounts which allow the movements of monies to be traced.
